I received this the other day from my friend Yvonne and I didn’t look at it until today… Now the whole world knows about it!
Susan Boyle, from Scotland, just a week ago was an unemployed charity worker living alone with her cat Pebbles and, as she informed TV viewers, had “never been kissed”. Now Simon Cowell says she will have a US No 1 album!
Wow, not is this a great example of going for your dreams in spite of all obstacles, but it is also to never judge a book by its cover!
How many of us were thinking the same thing the judges were when Susan walked onto the stage? If you weren’t I would imagine that you were merely a step ahead of the rest of us and knew this wouldn’t have been emailed around the world so quickly if it wasn’t going to pleasantly surprise us.
My last little “Aha” from this video… How flat is the world getting these days? As I understand it, this episode was aired on Saturday in the UK, and Susan’s clip lasted 7 minutes. By Monday, with the help of YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, etc., Susan Boyle was a worldwide sensation! These are all valuable tools to get our message across with ZERO expense! You may not become an international superstar like Susan, but you may just own your industry! What do you want to do today?
